Revolutionizing child development.
Measuring What Matters
By shifting our focus from “what’s wrong” to “what’s strong,” we can design education, parenting, and systems of support that help every child thrive—without asking them to fight against their nature.

As AI reshapes the future of work and learning, we must reimagine the way we prepare humans for that future.
KokoroMap is building the foundation—starting from day one.
The Problem
Our current metrics focus on deficits. They tell us what a child can’t do, rather than helping us understand who they are.

At the same time, we are entering an era where AI will transform how we learn, work, and contribute to society. As machines take over routine tasks, the uniquely human qualities—curiosity, empathy, critical thinking, adaptability—will matter more than ever. Yet we still don’t have a way to meaningfully measure and develop those traits.

The Opportunity
The first 1,000 days of life are a critical window for brain development. Every sound, glance, giggle, and gesture reflects an emerging neurodevelopmental profile—an early signature of how a child learns, relates, and grows. These signals are rich with meaning, but go largely unmeasured.

At KokoroMap, we believe that strengths-based measurement is the key to unlocking every child’s potential.

We’re building tools that use artificial intelligence to analyze real-world behavior—like how a baby responds to new experiences or how a toddler adapts to a challenge—and translate those observations into neuroprofiles: individualized maps of each child’s natural cognitive and emotional tendencies.
